Daniel Webber, Dermot Mulroney and Katheryn Winnick to Lead Psychological Thriller ‘Compound 9’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Daniel Webber (“Billy the Kid,” “11.22.63,” “The Dirt”), Dermot Mulroney (“Anyone But You,” “The Hunting Wives”) and Katheryn Winnick (“Vikings,” “Big Sky,” “The Marksman”) are leading the cast of psychological horror-thriller “Compound 9.”

The film — now shooting in Miami — is being directed by Rodrigo H. Vila (“The Letter”) and is inspired by William Peter Blatty’s 1980 cult film “The Ninth Configuration,” for which “The Exorcist” author won the Golden Globe for best screenplay. It was written by Vila, Andy Weiss (“White Boy Rick”) and Ari Schlossberg (“Hide and Seek”).

Set in the aftermath of the Vietnam War, “Compound 9” follows a group of Marine veterans suffering from severe psychological trauma who are confined inside a remote government facility.
